Day 26 - Praying Hands

This image is a close up of a statue which can be found in the Canadian city of Toronto. The statue honours a Scottish Martyr called Margaret Wilson who lived in the seventeenth century - she gave her life for her beliefs at the age of just 18.

Look at her hands, bound in the ropes that tied her to the stake as the tide came in. Allow yourself to be drawn into her prayer... what is she asking God?
